Whether you’re dealing with a difficult problem, working through life changes, or simply wish to experience more peace in your life, know that you are not alone. Life is filled with ups and downs and we all can benefit from a little extra support from time to time.
With over two decades' experience working with adults, children, and families in a variety of settings, I am well equipped to work with clients on a variety of challenges. My goal as a therapist is to offer you a space to share and feel seen and heard, without judgment. I consider therapy a partnership, and I love having the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they make positive changes in their lives. In therapy you can expect to master the skills and insight necessary to learn, grow, and create that life you want.

About Me
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, I began my career working with children and adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. In 2003 I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Once I finished my degree, I specialized in play therapy and acted as Supervisor of Children’s Services at Green Country Behavioral Health in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In that role, I oversaw mental health service delivery for children ages three to 17 years. It was there that I also worked with psychiatrist and author Dr. Bruce Perry, implementing his Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) pilot project with high risk children in Head Start. Upon completion of that project, I moved to Dallas in 2008 to work with child victims of domestic violence at Jewish Family Service.
In 2009, life took an unexpected turn when I moved to Düsseldorf, Germany with my husband. There I took the opportunity to teach ESL classes to both children and adults. I loved working with people from all over the world, which helped me further develop a multicultural perspective. In 2013 we moved back to the US and landed in Houston, where I resumed therapy for people from all walks of life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Oklahoma, an LPC Supervisor in Texas, and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider.
